Masonic Tribune (.pdf format)
*As the Chairman of the Masonic Tribune Committee,
it is my responsibility to deliver to the brethren of this Masonic
Jurisdiction the copy of the publication that is readable according to
its intended mode of delivery. However, the most recent distribution
must have created confusion due to the various browsers used to open or
download the file.
First of all, make you download the latest version
of Acrobat Reader X,
click the underlined text to the Adobe Acrobat download page. Below you
will find some troubleshooting guidelines to assist in trying to read
the publication or download the file for redistribution to your lodge:
1.
In the mass distribution
message sent, performing a right click on the actual link provides the
user with the options to copy the link, open the link in their default
Reader, or download the file onto the users download folder.
2.
Most of the time in most
browsers, after the file has opened in the window, there is a menu on
the bottom of the cover page when the user rollovers the bottom cursor
near the margin of the page. The menu allows the user to either open the
page in the default preview, i.e. Acrobat Reader for PDF’s or download
the material which by default saves the file in the Download folder of
the user.
3.
Either way, after the PDF
file opens in the window of the browser, the browser menu allows the
user to save the file in their preferred folder for their personal
archiving of the file. The file is approximately 12.1 MB.
4.
Some browsers would open
the file but would fail to deliver an interactive content of the
publication. Please try opening the file with another browser by copying
the link and pasting it on the URL field of the alternate browser.
5.
My suggestion is for
everybody to download the file and read the publication using the
archived file. This provides effective use of the interactive features,
which makes navigating through the content of the material effortless
and much enjoyable.
I hope you find this message helpful so you may
enjoy the Spring issue of our Masonic Tribune. Please do not hesitate to
contact me for any assistance to the matter. Thank you so much for your
patience, support and understanding.
Fraternally,
Godofredo "Santy" Lascano, PGM
