Each year during the month of March, Deer Park Lodge hosts a musical recital for and by elementary age students (eighth grade and lower). The object of this recital is to give recognition and encouragement to these very young musicians and vocalists along with giving them a platform to perform before an audience.

This program is well received and appreciated in our area by the grade and middle school music departments, private music teachers and the community at large.  The event is held in the Deer Park Open Door Congregational Church, which has a grand piano and venue for musicians.

This year the lodge as the sponsor gave each performer a gift certificate to be used at our local music store, Strings and More.  The local Rosauers Foods store supported the program with a flower bouquet and video rental gift certificate. 

Our reward – We feel that this event exposes Masonry to an audience (moms, dads and extended family), which may further inquire about the lodge.
